Illinois High School Football - Woodstock holds off Ridgewood
September 5, 2025: Woodstock, IL 60098 The Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) football tipped the visiting Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), 21-14 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Blue Streaks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harvard for a Kishwaukee River outing on Friday, September 12. Woodstock will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Ridgewood drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a UpState 8 - East outing on Friday, September 12. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Riverside-Brookfield won 41-20 in their recent non-league outing against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)
