California High School Football - River Islands thwarted by Emerald
September 5, 2025: Lathrop, CA 95330 Emerald Aerouants (Dublin, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 29-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Emerald improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Aerouants travel to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to meet the Monarchs in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mt. Eden 6-6 in their recent non-league test against Irvington (Fremont, CA)
With the defeat, River Islands drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Riptide travel to Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA) to meet the Lions in a test on Friday, September 19. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-2.
