The Avon Eagles football squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Glenville Tarblooders to 12 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elyria for a Southwestern test on Friday, September 13. Avon will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 26-19 non-league loss to East (Akron, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Glenville drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tarblooders host East Tech (Cleveland, OH) to meet the Scarabs in a Senate test on Friday, September 20. The Scarabs come into the test with a record of 0-2.
