In Friday's non-league match, the host Bracken Christian Warriors football squad scored a decisive 52-7 triumph over the Medina Bobcats.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their match against The Christian School at Castle Hills (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, The Christian School at Castle Hills was routed by Heritage Christian (Fredericksburg, TX), 28-26, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 13. Medina will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
