In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Plateau Valley Cowboys football squad scored a decisive 42-6 victory over the Custer County Bobcats.

The Cowboys (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Norwood (Norwood, CO). The Mavericks enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Norwood was routed by Vail Christian (Edwards, CO), 30-28, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Custer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 40-20 non-league loss to Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO).
