Tennessee High School Football - Dresden thwarted by Lake County
September 6, 2024: Tiptonville, TN 38079 Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Dresden Lions (Dresden, TN), 30-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Lake County improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to South Fulton (South Fulton, TN) to play the Red Devils in a 1A Region 7 battle on Friday, September 13. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 3-0. South Fulton won 49-46 in their recent non-league battle against Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN)
The Lions now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Halls for a 1A Region 7 battle on Friday, September 13. Dresden will play a Tigers team coming off a 41-0 league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
