In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Freedom Patriots football squad scored a good 26-7 triumph over the Forestview Jaguars.

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Gaffney defeated Greenville (Greenville, SC), 54-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Forestview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 52-14 non-league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC).
