California High School Volleyball - Charter Oak Mayfair
September 6, 2024: Covina, CA 91723 Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mayfair improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Monsoons travel to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to face the Kares in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Kares go into the test with a record of 15-8. Rio Hondo Prep won 3-1 in their recent league test against Providence (Burbank, CA)
The Chargers now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Charter Oak will face a Griffins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 3-3.
