Georgia High School Softball - Adairsville bounces Wheeler
September 6, 2025: Adairsville, GA 30103 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Adairsville Tigers softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Wheeler Wildcats.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the 3A Region 7 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Calhoun was routed by Cartersville (Cartersville, GA), 13-1, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a 6A Region 5 game on Tuesday, September 9. Wheeler will play a Warriors team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-4.
