Georgia High School Softball - Lanier County bounces Long County
September 6, 2025: Lakeland, GA 31635 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lanier County Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Long County Blue Tide.
The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Pierce County was routed by Coffee (Douglas, GA), 7-2, in a non-league game.
The Blue Tide now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a 3A Region 3 game on Tuesday, September 9. Long County will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-4.
