September 7, 2023: Simpsonville, SC 29681 Spartanburg Day Griffins (Spartanburg, SC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host GREEN Upstate Owls (Simpsonville, SC), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Griffins clash with the Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region III match, on Tuesday, September 12. Spartanburg Day will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cambridge Academy (Greenwood, SC).
With the loss, GREEN Upstate drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC) to battle the Knights in a non-league contest on Monday, September 11.
