The Camden County Bruins football squad scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Gates County Red Barons to 12 in the Bruins non-league victory on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasquotank County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Friday, September 15. Camden County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 37-14 non-league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
