North Carolina High School Soccer - East Surry nudged by Alleghany
September 8, 2025: Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Mount Airy got by North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cardinals play the West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 10. East Surry will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 7-0 non-league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
