Ohio High School Soccer - St. Ignatius knocks off Avon
September 8, 2025: Avon, OH 44011 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the host Avon Eagles (Avon, OH), saw St. Ignatius's soccer squad prevail over Avon by a count of 5-1.
The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against University School (Hunting Valley, OH). The Preppers enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, University School by Hawken (Gates Mills, OH), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Berea-Midpark Titans (Berea, OH) in a Southwestern battle, on Wednesday, September 10. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to John Marshall (Cleveland, OH).
