Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), 33-21 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Westerly improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to confront the Patriots in a Division II-B test on Friday, September 16. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-1. Portsmouth lost 20-0 in their recent league test against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI)
