The North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) football routed the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 49-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Black Knights clash with the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. North Davidson will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the 3A West Conference 48 bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Concord was crushed by Monroe (Monroe, NC), 54-10, in a non-league bout.
