Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Redbirds clash with the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Tuesday, September 12. Metamora will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Little Giants come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).

With the loss, Jacksonville drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Crimsons host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Cyclones in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9.
