North Carolina High School Volleyball - Community Christian Academy can't get by Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy
September 9, 2025: Lincolnton, NC Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC), 2-1 in a league outing.
The Crusaders now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nebo Crossing Academy for a outing on Friday, September 12. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Challenger (Hickory, NC). The Firebirds go into the game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Challenger nudged Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC), 2-1, in a league game.
