South Dakota High School Volleyball - Custer Sturgis Brown
September 9, 2025: Sturgis, SD 57785 Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), 3-1 in a non-league test.
The Scoopers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD). The Governors come into the AA District 1 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Pierre T.F. Riggs lost by Mitchell (Mitchell, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD).
