In Tuesday's non-league match, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL), by a margin of 3-0.

The Buccaneers now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Gardendale for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Hoover will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Rockets record now stands at 4-5.
