September 10, 2022: Garden Grove, CA 92845 The Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) volleyball nudged the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Pacifica betters its record to 4-7 on the year. The Mariners host Valencia (Placentia, CA) to face the Tigers in a Empire outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 8-5.
The Cowboys now sport a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Saugus for a Foothill outing on Tuesday, September 13. Canyon will face a Centurions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 20-1.
