The Ponderosa Bruins topped the host Nevada Union Miners volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bruins now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vista del Lago for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Ponderosa will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Capital Christian (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

The Miners (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 5-0 record.
