Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA) and the host Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA), observed Foothill's volleyball team top Valley by a count of 3-1.

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Pacers enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Grant was knocked off by Chico (Chico, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
