Maryland High School Soccer - Northwestern nudges Laurel
September 11, 2025: Laurel, MD 20707 In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Northwestern Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Laurel Spartans.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Tigers enter the Class 4A South II outing with a 2-1 record.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Pumas enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 league loss to DuVal (Lanham, MD).
