Ohio High School Volleyball - Alexander over Athens
September 11, 2025: Albany, OH 45710 The Alexander Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Athens Bulldogs to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Alexander will play a Huntsmen team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Huntsmen record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Athens drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 2-9. Fairfield Union lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Circleville (Circleville, OH)
