Texas High School Football - Canyon can't hold off Alamo Heights
September 12, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78209 Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), 36-29 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Alamo Heights advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mules travel to Clemens (Schertz, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 18. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Clemens won 46-7 in their recent non-league battle against Churchill (San Antonio, TX)
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Eagle Pass for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. Canyon will play a Eagles team coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Taft (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
