September 12, 2024: Shelbina, MO 63468 The South Shelby Cardinals triumphed over the visiting Marion County Mustangs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals play the La Plata Bulldogs (La Plata, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. South Shelby will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to New Franklin (New Franklin, MO).
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wellsville-Middletown (Wellsville, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Wellsville-Middletown was routed by North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO), 23-0, in a league challenge.
