North Carolina High School Football - Lawrence Academy overwhelmed by John Paul II Catholic

In Friday's non-league game, the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) football team triumphed over the host Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), by a tally of 57-6.

In their next game, the Saints face the St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) game, on Friday, September 19. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 41-8 league win over Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC).

With the defeat, Lawrence Academy drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Columbia (Columbia, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 1-1.
