In Friday's non-league bout, the Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN) volleyball team held off the host Goshen HomeSchool Blue Blazers (Goshen, IN), by a margin of 3-2.

The Lions now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host La Lumiere for a South Shore Athletic bout on Tuesday, September 16. Victory Christian Academy will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 0-1.
