South Dakota High School Football - Sisseton trounced by Flandreau
September 13, 2024: Flandreau, SD 57028 Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), 47-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Flandreau advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Fliers travel to McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD) to play the Fighting Cougars in a Big East battle on Friday, September 20. The Fighting Cougars go into the battle with a record of 2-2. McCook Central/Montrose lost 55-7 in their recent non-league battle against West Central (Hartford, SD)
The Redmen now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sioux Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Sisseton will play a Cossacks team coming off a 56-36 non-league win over Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD). The Cossacks record now stands at 3-0.
