In Saturday's non-league match, the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves (Jackson, WI) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Timberwolves encounter the St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI) in a Midwest Classic battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Living Word Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Mariners go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Martin Luther (Greendale, WI).
