Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Midtown upgrades its record to 20-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Walton (Marietta, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 12-2. Walton won 3-0 in their recent league outing against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA)

With the loss, Woodward Academy drops to 17-4 on the season. The War eagles travel to Decatur (Decatur, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a 5A Area 4 game on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 10-8. Decatur won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Atlanta International (Atlanta, GA)
