Ohio High School Soccer - Lake Catholic toppled by Fairview
September 14, 2024: Mentor, OH 44060 Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fairview advances its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA) to clash with the Huskies in a District 10 Region 3 test on Monday, September 16. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 5-3. Harbor Creek lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)
The Cougars now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elyria Catholic for a North Coast Conference test on Tuesday, September 17. Lake Catholic will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
