The Landstown Eagles edged the host First Flight Nighthawks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles face the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach game, on Thursday, September 19. Landstown will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Stallions go into the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Salem (Virginia Beach, VA).

The Nighthawks (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Pasquotank County was edged by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
