Maine High School Football - Old Town can't get by Belfast
September 15, 2023: Belfast, ME 04915 Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), 14-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Belfast improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Winslow (Winslow, ME) to confront the Black Raiders in a D North test on Saturday, September 23. The Black Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-1. Winslow lost 36-14 in their recent non-league test against Nokomis (Newport, ME)
With the loss, Old Town drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes host John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, September 22. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 3-1. John Bapst Memorial won 27-20 in their recent league test against Freeport (Freeport, ME)
