The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) and the visiting Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC), observed Mid-Carolina's football squad defeat Columbia by a count of 29-6.

The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Gray Collegiate Academy for a AA Region 4 contest on Friday, September 22. Mid-Carolina will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 42-28 non-league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The War Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
