Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), 10-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Independence advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A outing on Wednesday, September 17. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 6-3. North Mecklenburg 1-1 in their recent league game against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)
