Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) and the host Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), observed Ware County's volleyball team hold off Brooks County by a tally of 3-2.

The Gators (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix enter the 4A Area 1 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, New Hampstead was tipped by St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
