September 17, 2025: Spring Mills, PA 16875 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) and the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), witnessed Penns Valley Area's soccer team triumph over Philipsburg-Osceola by a final score of 9-0.
With the triumph, Penns Valley Area moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) to meet the Huskies in a Laurel Highlands match on Tuesday, September 23. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 1-2.
The Mountaineers now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moshannon Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Philipsburg-Osceola will battle a Black Knights/Damsels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels record now stands at 1-3.
