New York High School Soccer - Irondequoit nudges Canandaigua Academy
September 18, 2024: Canandaigua, NY 14424 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Irondequoit Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Canandaigua Academy Braves.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Brighton (Rochester, NY). The Bruins go into the Monroe - Division II outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Brighton got by Greece Arcadia (Rochester, NY), 11-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Braves play the Spencerport Rangers (Spencerport, NY) in a Monroe - Division II outing, on Tuesday, September 24. Canandaigua Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Rangers go into the outing with a 6-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Gates Chili (Rochester, NY).
