Groton Indians (Groton, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Marathon Olympians (Marathon, NY), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Groton moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Tioga (Tioga Center, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 4 Interscholastic test on Friday, September 20. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Olympians now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newfield for a Section 4 Interscholastic test on Thursday, September 19.
