Texas High School Football - Burleson can't hold off Mansfield Summit
September 18, 2025: Burleson, TX 76028 Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 32-26 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mansfield Summit improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-0. Grapevine won 28-19 in their recent league test against Seguin (Arlington, TX)
With the defeat, Burleson drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a test on Thursday, October 2. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-0.
