Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Scotland Highlanders (Scotland, SD), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Avon advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD) to play the Tanagers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Tanagers come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Vermillion lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD)
