In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Banks County Leopards volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Flowery Branch Falcons.

With the win, Banks County advances its record to 17-10 on the season. The Leopards host Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA) to face the Tigers in a 1A Area 8 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-16. Washington-Wilkes lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Elbert County (Elberton, GA)

The Falcons now sport a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Flowery Branch will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-13.
