Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions (Nashville, TN) and the visiting Father Ryan Irish (Nashville, TN), observed Christ Presbyterian Academy's volleyball team top Father Ryan by a count of 3-0.

The Lions (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Red Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Baylor achieved victory over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Irish now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brentwood Academy for a D-II AA Middle Region battle on Tuesday, September 23. Father Ryan will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
