West Virginia High School Volleyball - Montcalm over Bluefield

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the host Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Generals face the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Thursday, September 21. Montcalm will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).

With the loss, Bluefield moves to 1-13 on the year. The Beavers travel to Independence (Coal City, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 21. The Patriots go into the contest with a record of 11-9. Independence won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV)
