September 19, 2024: Cross, SC 29436 St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cross Trojans (Cross, SC), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, St. John's improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Islanders host Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 0-1. Baptist Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC)
The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Military Magnet Academy for a test on Thursday, September 26. Cross will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-10.
