The Milpitas Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Gilroy Mustangs to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cupertino for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino outing on Monday, September 23.

With the loss, Gilroy drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to play the Saints in a BVAL - Santa Teresa East outing on Wednesday, September 25. The Saints come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Santa Teresa won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Prospect (Saratoga, CA)
