North Carolina High School Soccer - Durham Academy nudges Trinity Academy
September 19, 2025: Durham, NC 27705 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) and the visiting Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC), saw Durham Academy's soccer squad hold off Trinity Academy by a count of 1-0.
The Cavaliers (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cary Academy (Cary, NC). The Chargers enter the NCISAA Triangle match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Cary Academy nipped Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC), 3-2, in a league match.
The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cary Christian for a NCISAA Capital City match on Tuesday, September 23. Trinity Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 6-5 league win over St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
