September 20, 2022: Huntington Park, CA 90255 Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in a league match.
Next up, the Gladiators battle the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) in a Southern match, on Thursday, September 22. Marquez will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA).
With the loss, Torres drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Toros host Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Southern match on Tuesday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 7-1. Elizabeth won 3-2 in their recent league match against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA)
